Last night marked Week 13 of the Aylesbury Tuesday League, bringing another evening of competitive yet friendly netball, with all teams showing great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout.

In the league, Court Queens continued their strong run with a 12–8 win over BucksBaddies. It was an evenly contested match, particularly in the early stages, with both sides creating good opportunities. Court Queens gradually found their rhythm, using consistent passing and solid defensive work to edge ahead, while BucksBaddies remained determined and kept the pressure on until the final whistle.

Girls On Fire also delivered a strong performance, earning a 12–9 victory against Ball Of Fame. The match was played at a good pace, with both teams showing attacking intent and resilience. Emma Quartermaine stood out with an impressive individual display and was deservedly named player of the week. Her movement, accuracy, and overall contribution played a key role in helping her team secure the win, though Ball Of Fame can take plenty of positives from a well-fought game.

The evening concluded with Chafing The Dream taking on Pivots. Chafing The Dream came away with a 10–5 win, but the scoreline doesn’t fully reflect the effort shown by both sides. Pivots worked hard across the court and showed good determination, while Chafing The Dream maintained composure and consistency to see the game through.

As the Aylesbury Tuesday League continues to progress, it’s encouraging to see all teams building momentum and developing their play week by week. The standard of netball remains high, and the positive attitude shown across the league continues to make it an enjoyable and inclusive environment for everyone involved. With several weeks still to come, there’s plenty of exciting netball ahead.
