Play in the Aylesbury Tuesday You Play Netball league
The new season of the Aylesbury Tuesday netball league got underway last night, with a series of enjoyable and competitive matches as teams took to the court for week one.
Chafing The Dream made a strong start with a 20-6 win over Girls On Fire. Their teamwork and movement around the court helped them settle into the game early and build a steady lead, while Girls On Fire continued to show effort and determination throughout.
Ball Of Fame also began their season positively, securing a 17-6 victory against BucksBaddies. Both teams worked hard across the court, with Ball Of Fame managing to maintain consistency in attack and defence.
Pivots and The A Team faced off in another engaging match, with The A Team coming away with a 13-6 win. It was a well-contested game, and both sides showed promising signs for the weeks ahead.
A special mention goes to Dilyana Manolova from The A Team, who was named ‘Most Valuable Player’ for week one. Her performance stood out thanks to her energy, skill, and contribution to her team’s overall play.
Overall, it was a positive and encouraging start to the season, with all teams showing great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. As the league continues, it will be exciting to see how each team develops and builds on their performances.
