Our league is all about Back to Netball — having fun, building confidence, and enjoying the game together. While everyone loves a competitive match, we don’t encourage overly intense play, so please be mindful and supportive of all players on court! Thanks!
Week 9 of the League division in the Didcot Thursday Netball League brought another evening of closely contested matches and great teamwork across the court. Teams continued to build momentum as players showed strong determination, teamwork, and plenty of skill throughout the night.
Ball Slappers and Enchanted played out a very close game, with Enchanted narrowly taking the win 9-8. Both sides worked hard throughout the match and kept the scoreline tight from start to finish.
Midas Touch delivered a confident performance against Court Queens, coming away with a 9-2 victory. Court Queens continued to show great effort and determination against a strong Midas Touch side.
The final match of the evening saw Netspresso Martinis take on Hoop Troops in an entertaining game that finished 13-9 to Netspresso Martinis. Hoop Troops’ Lauren Galtress stood out with an excellent all-round performance and was named Most Valued Player of the Week for her skill, movement, and consistency on court.
With several weeks still to play, the League division continues to provide exciting matches and enjoyable netball each Thursday evening. Teams will now look ahead to next week’s fixtures as the season continues to unfold.
