Week 8 of the Didcot Thursday Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of competition, with teams in the League division continuing to build momentum as the season moves toward its final stages.
The night began with a closely contested match between Ball Slappers and Court Queens. Both sides played with great energy and teamwork, matching each other throughout to finish in a well-earned 13–13 draw.
Midas Touch faced Netspresso Martinis in a competitive and well-fought game. Midas Touch came away with a 12–8 win, thanks in part to a standout performance from this week’s MVP, Tegan Pratley, whose movement and accuracy made a real difference.
Hoop Troops put in a strong performance against Enchanted, taking a 20–4 victory. Their confident play and consistent scoring helped them maintain control of the game from start to finish.
With just two weeks remaining, teams are continuing to support each other while aiming to finish the season on a high. There’s a great sense of community and encouragement across the league as everyone pushes toward the final standings.
Tegan Pratley also led the scoring this week, adding another highlight to an already impressive round of fixtures.
As the season draws closer to its conclusion, there’s plenty to look forward to. It promises to be a fun and engaging finish, with more great netball still to come.
