Play in the Ashbourne Wednesday netball league
Week 7 of the Ashbourne Wednesday netball league took place last night, with another round of well-contested and enjoyable matches.
Sling It Sisters put in a strong performance, earning a 19–6 win over Still Playing. Ash & Dash also had a productive evening, coming away with a 24–11 result against Ball Of Fame. Pass Me The Wine and The Ash-tonishers played out a closely fought game, with The Ash-tonishers just edging it 10–9. In the final match, Nets Get Physical secured an 18–8 win over Bourne Lucky.
Across all the games, teams showed good effort and teamwork, contributing to a positive atmosphere throughout the evening.
Eleanor Kirkham of Ash & Dash was named player of the week, following an impressive performance and strong contribution to her team’s result.
As the season continues, teams will be looking to build consistency and move up the league table. It will be interesting to see how things develop over the coming weeks.
