As week 6 of the Ashbourne Wednesday netball league took place, it was another enjoyable round of matches with teams showing great effort, teamwork, and improvement across the league.

Bourne Lucky and Ball Of Fame played out a closely contested match, with Ball Of Fame just edging the result 17–15. Both teams performed well, making it an exciting and competitive game from start to finish.

Still Playing secured a 10–6 win against The Ash-tonishers in another well-fought fixture. Both sides showed determination, with Still Playing finding good consistency across the court.

Nets Get Physical delivered a strong performance to earn a 17–7 win over Sling It Sisters. Their teamwork and organisation were clear, while Sling It Sisters continued to show effort throughout the match.

Ash & Dash also recorded a positive result, winning 19–12 against Pass Me The Wine in a game that featured plenty of good attacking play from both teams.

This week’s most valued player award went to Alexandra Robinson of Still Playing, whose contribution and all-round performance made a real difference for her team.

As the league continues, it’s great to see all teams building and developing each week in a positive and supportive environment. We look forward to more enjoyable matches in the coming rounds.
