Great Matches in Week 5 of the Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League

Week 5 of the Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League brought another enjoyable round of fixtures, with teams continuing to show great effort and teamwork across the League.

Nets Get Physical secured a strong 16-10 win over Ball Of Fame in a well-played match, maintaining a consistent performance throughout. Bourne Lucky and Pass Me The Wine played out one of the closest games of the evening, with Bourne Lucky just edging it 14-13 in a closely contested fixture.

Ash & Dash delivered a confident performance to take a 17-3 win against Still Playing, showing good movement and teamwork on court. Sling It Sisters also picked up a 10-8 win over The Ash-tonishers in another competitive match.

This week’s Most Valued Player was Saria Biddlecombe Hawes of The Ash-tonishers. Despite the result, her performance stood out, showing great skill and determination throughout the game.

As the League moves into week 6, teams will be looking to build on their performances and continue enjoying friendly and competitive matches each week. The Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League continues to offer a fun and social environment for all involved.
