Congratulations to Ash & Dash, this season’s winners of the Ashbourne League, and well done to Bourne To Play, who finished as runners-up. A huge congratulations also goes to Harriet Gregory, who was awarded Most Valued Player of the Season for her consistent and impressive performances.

The Ashbourne Wednesday Netball League came to an exciting and uplifting close in week 14, rounding off the season with a series of competitive and enjoyable matches that showcased great teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship across the League.

Ash & Dash finished the season on a high, securing the league title with an impressive 24 points and 12 wins. Their consistency and commitment throughout the season were key to a well-deserved first-place finish.

Bourne To Play delivered a strong performance in their final match, recording a 15–5 win over Sling It Sisters. Caya McCarthy played a standout role and was named Most Valuable Player of the Week, recognised for her influential contribution and calm presence on court.

Elsewhere, Pass Me The Wine claimed a convincing 13–4 victory over The Ash-tonishers, rounding off their season with a confident display of teamwork. Nets Get Physical also ended on a positive note with a 14–7 win against Bourne Lucky, in a lively and entertaining match.

As the season draws to a close, it has been another enjoyable year of netball in Ashbourne, filled with competitive fixtures and great sporting spirit. Congratulations again to Ash & Dash and to all teams who took part — we look forward to welcoming everyone back for the next season.
