Ashbourne Wednesday night netball - week 1

The night was brimming with intense competition, dexterous moves, and heart-stopping moments, showcasing the breath-taking skills of all teams involved. Among the fiery bouts, the match between Sling It Sisters and Ash & Dash caught everyone's eyes. After a nail-biting round, Ash & Dash emerged victorious, narrowly beating Sling It Sisters with a score of 12-9, a testimony to the team's tenacity and sportsmanship.

Not far behind, Nets Get Physical proved their prowess on the court with a commendable win over The Ash-tonishers, taking home the glory with a scoreline of 13-9. However, the showstopper of the night was Bourne To Play's dominant performance over Bourne Lucky, with an overwhelming score of 21-8, setting the bar high for the rest of the season. Not to be overlooked, Pass Me The Wine also secured a hard-fought victory over Ball Of Fame, closing their game at 12-9.

The shining star of the evening, however, was Harriet Gregory of Ash & Dash. Gregory's exceptional performance throughout the match left spectators and participants alike in awe, earning her the title of 'Most Valued Player' for the week.

Polite Reminder

If any team borrows a player to guest for them, they must play out of their regular position, so, for example, if your regular position for the team is GS and you have been asked to play for another team then you will not be able to play GS or GA for that team.
