Downham Market Monday You Play Netball League – Week 3

Week 3 of the Downham Market Monday social netball league took place at Alive Downham Leisure, with teams returning for another evening of friendly and competitive netball. Players of different experience levels took to the court and showed good teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the evening.

The first match saw Pocket Rockets take on Ball Me Maybe. Ball Me Maybe finished the game with a 4–1 victory after a competitive match. Both teams worked hard throughout, with some good passing and movement around the court.

Next up were Nimble Ninjas and The Ginger Snaps. Nimble Ninjas secured a 16–2 win after a strong performance. The Ginger Snaps continued to compete throughout the game, showing good effort and commitment despite the scoreline.

The third match of the evening saw Market Leaders face Double Down. Double Down came away with a narrow 5–4 victory following a closely contested game. Both teams worked hard to create opportunities, with the result remaining close throughout the match.

The final game saw In It To Win It take on Exclamation Marks. The two teams finished level at 9–9 after a competitive and evenly matched fixture. Both sides showed good teamwork and continued to push throughout the game.

This week's Most Valuable Player was Chelsea Gallagher from Market Leaders. Chelsea showed good movement around the court and made a positive contribution throughout her game, earning recognition for her performance and commitment.

With Week 3 now complete, attention turns to Week 4 at Alive Downham Leisure. The Monday league provides a friendly and welcoming environment for players to enjoy regular netball, stay active, develop their skills and meet other players.
