Telford Sunday YouPlay Netball League News 2025-12-21

Week two of the Telford Sunday Premier League brought plenty of smiles, teamwork and great netball moments, as teams came together for another enjoyable evening on court. With four matches played, it was all about getting involved, supporting teammates and building confidence as the season continues.

Pitch Perfect and Hot Shots kicked things off, with Pitch Perfect settling quickly into their rhythm and enjoying a strong start to the evening, finishing with an 18–1 scoreline. Both teams showed great enthusiasm and made the most of their time on court.

Hoopdoggz took on Spice Goals in a lively and positive match, full of movement and encouragement from the sidelines. Spice Goals edged ahead to take an 11–6 win, while Liv McCleary of Hoopdoggz stood out for her energy and commitment, earning this week’s Most Valued Player award.

The third game of the night came from Glitterballs versus Telford Tricksters. The match stayed tight throughout, with great passages of play from both sides. Tricksters narrowly took the win 14–12 in a great game. 

The final match saw Wrecking Ballers and Telford Twerkers wrap up the evening. Wrecking Ballers enjoyed a confident performance, finishing 25–5, while both teams shared plenty of encouragement and laughs as they played.

As the league heads into week three, teams are settling in, making new connections and enjoying regular Sunday netball. Whether you’re here to compete, keep active or meet new people, there’s something for everyone in the Telford Sunday League.
