Stoke Gifford Sunday YouPlay Netball League News 2026-02-15

Week 7 of the Stoke Gifford Sunday Indoor Netball League was packed with good vibes, great teamwork and plenty of Sunday evening smiles as everyone took to the court for another fun round of fixtures.

The Goal Diggers and Shooters Gonna Shoot got things underway with an energetic match full of positive play and encouragement from the sidelines. Hoop There It Is brought lots of movement and sharp passing to their game against In The Zone, with some lovely team combinations and confident shooting on display.

A big cheer goes to Ella Olden from Hoop There It Is, who was named Player of the Week. Her all-round performance, supportive communication and work rate made a real difference for her team. Most importantly, she played with fantastic spirit – exactly what this league is all about.

One of the most evenly matched games of the evening saw Chasing Wins and On Side finish level in a tightly contested, end-to-end match. It was a brilliant example of social netball at its best – competitive in the moment, but full of laughs and sportsmanship at the final whistle.

As we head into the next round of fixtures, it’s not just about the scorelines – it’s about staying active, catching up with teammates and enjoying a fun way to end the weekend. Whether you’re in it for fitness, friendship or just a love of the game, the Stoke Gifford Sunday league is a great place to be.
